Cape ahoy!

Baboons, Ostriches, Penguins & Fab scenery!

sunny 28 °C

Hi folks
We've been having such a good time we haven't got round to posting as much as we'd like to!
We love South Africa more than we ever thought we would - it's such a vibrant place - mountains, beaches, scenery!
We had an amazing day trip on Tuesday- Cape of Good Hope, Misty Cliffs, Fish Hoek, Baboon Beach (Platboom).
At Platboom once we got to the beach a family of Baboons came along and decided to chill out on the steps back up to the car - Mish was a bit nervous walking through them but they just ignored us - the largest baboon opened its eyes as we walked past and then just went back to sleep again.
You don't have these situations at Crawfordsburn do you!
On round the cape we arrived at Boulders Beach which is famous for it's colony of Penguins. As it was a hot day most stood motionless facing into the breeze with their eyes closed.
We finished our cape drive at Fish Hoek.
We posted some photos of the Cape including some of the baboons & penguins a few days ago - hope u enjoy them.
